Robes of the Undying – The player resists 2 points of damage for every undead minion controlled by the player.

Staff of the Undead – Provides +5 bonus to all rolls performed by Undead minions controlled by the player


Racial Ability:

Elven Expertise (Level 3) – The player gains a +5 bonus to attack and damage rolls for Intelligence based attacks.

Character Abilities:

Soul Manipulation (Level 3): The player may harvest the souls of recently deceased beings. These souls are then stored within the Staff of the Undead and can be used to either summon an Undead minion within 10 feet of the player (Up to a maximum of 5), add +5 to either Strength, Intelligence, or Dexterity of an undead minion, or heal an undead minion by 10 Hit Points.

Necrotic Blast (Level 3) The player charges his staff with the energy from 5 souls and then unleashes a fiery blast of green Acidic & Necrotic energy upon his foe dealing Xd10 damage where X was the number of souls spent to unleash this attack. The explosion effects a 15 ft by 15 ft square. Can only be used once per session.

Summon Carfinex – Gatekeeper of the Door to the Afterlife (Level 5) – The player spends a full round casting a horrifying spell that involves the sacrifice of the bodies and souls of five adjacent undead minions to summon forth Carfinex the Gatekeeper of the Door to the Afterlife_ with a fraction of his power. While under the player’s control Carfinex counts as 5 undead minions and does not have summoning sickness. As long as Carfinex is out and in play the player can not be agroed.

Siphon Life (Level 3) – Drains the life energy away from a target dealing 2d12 damage and healing the player an equal amount. Any health points over max health the players gains as bonus points until the start of their next turn.

Archmage (Level 4) – The player may cast an additional three spells per turn.

Bonus ablities

Cloud of Darkness (level 1):-The player can cast a spell that envelopes a 20 foot x 20 foot square. All creatures in the area gain a concealment bonus that grants a 20% chance for attacks to miss their target. Even creatures that can normally see in such conditions (such as with darkvision or low-light vision) have the miss chance in an area shrouded in magical darkness.

Lord of the dead (Level 5)- player prays and for the next 4 rounds the player can summon an unlimited number of undead minions. At the end of the 4 turns any number of undead minions over the normal amount return to the player.

Abilities of Carnifex

Ambidexterity (Level 4) – The player is equally adept at using either hand. Player takes no penalty for attacking with their off hand in the same turn they have already attacked with their main hand and gains an additional attack with each hand during each round of combat.
